Why I Do What I DO

I wasn’t born into wealth, nor do I hold fancy degrees. What I do have, however, is a lifetime of grit, determination, and lessons learned the hard way.

Like many, my journey started with a dream of a better future. At 24, I had already worked harder than most people my age, and after finishing school, I set off for Germany in search of opportunities I couldn’t find at home.

The beginning was tough—new language, new culture, new everything. But with time, I adapted, worked hard, and started building the life I thought I wanted.

I had a steady job and enough money to enjoy life, but something was missing. I wasn’t happy. No matter how much I achieved externally, I couldn’t shake the feeling of dissatisfaction because, deep down, I wasn’t proud of myself.

The truth was, I didn’t like the way I looked. I had struggled with my weight for most of my life, and by the time I hit 108 kg (probably more—I stopped weighing myself at one point), it felt like the problem was too big to tackle. My confidence was gone, and I felt stuck in a cycle of frustration and bad habits.

One day, I hit a breaking point. I knew I had two choices: continue living in discomfort and self-doubt or take responsibility and change. So, I started small. I Googled, read everything I could, and stumbled upon the simple yet life-changing concept of a caloric deficit. It wasn’t a magic pill, but it made sense.

Nine months later, through consistent effort, sacrifices, and a lot of learning, I had lost over 30 kg and gained something far more valuable—control over my life.
